Office supplies are a workplace necessity that are often overlooked, but not for Office Depot’s core consumer audience—Gear Lovers—who depend on them to accomplish greatness. Because there’s something undeniably satisfying in writing with a fresh pen or labeling a new set of notebooks or hearing the taps of a brand new keyboard.

The Gear Up for Great campaign evolved into the New Gear Feeling campaign for the back-to-school season, celebrating how new pens, notebooks, and gear can inspire students and parents alike.
School Supplies, from Their Eyes
Leaning into the popular #FromWhereIStand trend, we developed ad sets that helped parents see school supplies from their kids’ point of view, bringing Back to School archetypes to life in a fun, relatable way.
Each ad directed parents to a dedicated landing page where they could explore and shop the full “look” for each archetype, making it easy to outfit their kids for a successful and stylish school year.

Elf Yourself
The Elf Yourself app has been a longtime staple of the holiday season. However, few people realized Office Depot was the brand behind the elves.
The Holiday Workshop
We created a destination spotlighting the Office Elves supporting the Toymaker Elves behind the scenes at Santa’s Workshop. The page curated items for each elf’s role while promoting the Elf Yourself app along with featured UGC.
The Holiday Cheer Challenge
Supplementing the Holiday Workshop, we created a weekly social contest encouraging people to spread holiday cheer for the chance to win amazing prizes.
